Dear Families,
Good Afternoon! We ended our Civil Rights Book series (which was excellent!) I believe we will probably start up with another theme in April! Until then, we are taking a small break from our journals (although the students did such a fabulous job!)
I found a little quote about perseverance that I wanted to share
“Those who succeed usually have one big thing in common:
they never give up.
No matter how long it takes,
no matter how many obstacles in their way,
they fight on until they prevail.
Above so many things
perseverance is vital to success.
We do have spelling words for this week. In addition we will have our regular vocabulary words for this week! Students will receive these words (hole-punched) as well as their vocabulary words tomorrow in the morning on their desks! We will continue reviewing those third grade high frequency words throughout the year! Some of them are a review of words we have learned throughout this year!
Our focus for last week was having a growth-mindset and a positive attitude. As a class, we did much better with this! In addition, we really focused on kindness and positive towards others in the classroom! We certainly are growing together~
Warmly,
Miss Amoscato
