This idea of "different voices" and "points of view" within literature is quite a complex skill to teach. This book is genius. The author does an excellent job of portraying four different voices (gorillas) and their separate viewpoints and experiences about their time spent at the same park. Although confusing at first, if done correctly, students will really be able to distinguish the different viewpoints, feelings and opinions of each individual character within the story.
