3.5 miles

There is one particular place that has the best Americano coffee I have ever tasted.

The coffee is so rich.

And so dark.

Yet so creamy.

And so caffeinated.

My brother and sister-in-law are always so lovely to let me crash their Sunday coffee/breakfast party after I go to church. My husband generally works Sundays, so these are my people that offer me some warm conversation and always great food even though I insist I'm never going to eat.

And whilst we were drinking our coffee and eating these delectable donuts of warmth and love, I was excited to hear stories of others finding and exploring their own life purpose and sense of love and sense of being.

Nothing excites me more than when I hear life updates about the journeys of others going in beautiful directions. Or perhaps hearing about another and a new life experience that has them smiling in a new way or seeing sunlight from a different angle.

I quite enjoy life updates. And listening to the confused and the worried. The good and the bad. The delicate and the bold. But mostly, the stories of happiness and pure joy and a new spark of something new and different and inspiring. Whether we allow ourselves to believe it or not, a lot of our spark should ignite just from listening to the journeys of others. So quiet yourself and just listen. And allow yourself and your heart to celebrate the happiness of those near to you. Updates are like little sparknotes of whimsy. Little captions underneath pictures that allow for renewed excitement in a world yet discovered.
