I'm quite grateful for some time this week to just think and reflect

Spring Break is always (but particularly this year) necessary

For those who know me, I greatly enjoy reflection

I love thinking about certain decisions or past circumstances and how they have

threaded together to create where I am now

who I am now

The natural reward that comes from reflection is gratitude

and I think this is why I find myself so captured by the need to write

about who I am and what is important and where I'm going

in the hopes that when I look back on my life and take time to read all I have written

I smile knowing I tried my hardest to live a life with honest and faithful intentions

my favorite thing to say now is not just "what would our creator think?" but also "what would grandpa think?"

My grandfather was quite simply the most beautiful person I have ever met

and he reflected and prayed and shed kindness and love every day of his life

all of his past times, his career and his hobbies he transformed and inspired

so many

and he reflected daily about who he is was and who he wanted to be

and so in listening to the Bob Goff podcast as of late (to start my day)

he has urged me to keep three questions at the forefront of my life

What do you want out of life?

Why do you want it?

What are you going to do about it?

Because you want to find yourself in a place where your soul is willing and wanting and able

to soak in the sunshine and love

and live it's life with pure joy and pure intention

it's never too late

to make that happen
