Dearest Luca, 

It is hard to believe you are four months old! You are just the cutest little joyful snuggle baby. When we say you are the mildest baby ever, we absolutely mean it! You very rarely complain or upset and if you are, you quiet down quite quickly! You are hovering around the 50th percentile for height and weight and your head is large (but not as large as your sister's was haha) at the 80th percentile. You are a wonderful daytime sleeper but still not the best nighttime sleeper. You sleep really wonderfully from 8-2:30 and then after that, it's up to fate and chance!

You love to track just about everyone, and you really are the world's best listener. Contentment is your gift and so is your joy in everything around you. You could easily listen to storytime all day, and you absolutely adore your sister. Mama and Baba can make you laugh, but your sister REALLY knows how to make you laugh. Either that, or you find her antics to be so ridiculous that you cannot help but laugh. Your favorite musical genre is definitely jazz or soul music, and you have the strongest legs because you kick constantly (literally all day.) You just rolled over this month, you can keep your head nice and straight when propped up, and you are ALMOST sitting completely by yourself. You have a strong little body-that is for sure! Your new favorite thing is lurching forward because I do think that you are convinced you can walk just like your sister. Something tells me you are going to be an early little mover-and mama is going to be in trouble running after your sister and you at the same time!

Your smile and giggle came so early as did your cooing. You love talking with your eyebrows and cooing gently as well as "grunting" which seems to be our newest phase of communication. Car rides totally don't bother you and neither do trips to the park, grocery store or library. You are a reminder that all of us should find joy and contentment in the life we are living. Find the beauty in the here and now-you remind us this every day, and how thankful we are for you. 

You are a little Irish gift with your fair skin and leprechaun grin, and we could not be more proud of you. You embody your name and you have already spread an abundant amount of light.
