Dearest Luca, 

Happy 7, 8 9 and almost 10 months! I was much more diligent about writing about your sister (sorry buddy!) However, this does not make the light you shine any less special. You continue to be the cutest little delight of a baby. You are kind. You are gentle. You are curious and becoming much more vocal! You love to listen to your voice when you can hear the ECHO back. You miraculously taught yourself how to crawl at the beginning of this month, and you have not stopped since! You love to listen to Luna, smile at Luna and play with Luna. In fact, knocking over her dollhouse arrangements and creations is now your favorite past time. 

From the minute you were born, we could tell that your smile was something special. You light up the room with your cheese, and we get many compliments when we are out and about at grocery stores or libraries about just how cute you are (It is absolutely true-you are the cutest little baby.)

You are an excellent eater, you enjoy sitting at the table right next to your sister, taking baths, splashing in the water and rolling around on your white "car" as we call it. You are fast and furious and have ever so slightly started to pull to a stand. We know that when you begin to walk, you simply will not stop! However, you are also a keen observer. You watch everyone around you and you listen with a very careful little heart. 

We are grateful you are healthy. We are grateful for your smile. We are grateful for the endless belly laughs you have provided us. You are a reminder that with any season of change comes great JOY and great LOVE. You are forever our California-Pittsburgh baby. You bring the sunny skies of California into the city of Pittsburgh every day and for that we say, thank you "little buddy."
