Home is in between for a lot of first and second generation immigrants. A beautiful story that it is okay and beautiful to be BOTH.
Evaluation
This was an excellent story for young children who are in between two cultures, spaces and places. We follow the tale of a beautiful little girl who remembers the monsoon rains in India but is also living the traditions, cultures, new sounds and sights of North America. Wonderful for families, caregivers and students who have similar to or even different experiences. A reminder that home means many places for many people.
