Dear Parents,
Just a reminder that you should be checking your child’s homework every night. Homework logs should be signed daily by a parent (including Fridays!) Students should be practicing their multiplication facts every night! Once they pass their multiplication timed test (2 minutes) they will move on to the next set of multiplication facts. At least 10 minutes should be devoted to facts each night! In addition, students should be practicing their spelling words every night! Studying small chunks every night will make the studying more manageable!
We have a variety of exciting events coming up in the month of December. Next week, one of our parents will be coming in to give a presentation on Down Syndrome Awareness. This is bound to be a remarkable event for all students. In addition, the week of December 7th-December 13th marks National Coding Month around the world. As a result, students will be learning a few hands-on innovative techniques related to coding and computer science! We will also have a guest visitor that particular week to help teach a computer-science lesson!
