Dear Families,
I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather outside! We continue to work on quiet transitions within the classroom as well as learning to collaborate and cooperate with all of our 3A peers. This week is exciting in that we have our first field trip to Beechwood Farms to take place on Thursday. Permission slips were sent home on Friday, and they are green! Permission slips are due on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.
As a reminder, students will always have math homework (usually in their green book) every day. In addition, they will always be assigned something in reading whether it is reading a book, practicing vocabulary, practicing grammar or re-reading a trade book to prepare for the next day! The homework for the week will be listed on my website later today!
Also, as we continue through this quarter, students will be asked to start bringing home their “fact books” to practice their multiplication facts. I have multiple links on my website as well where students can practice flashcards online! The more practice, the better!
Warmly,
Miss Amoscato
