Dear Families,

I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather outside! We continue to work on quiet transitions within the classroom as well as learning to collaborate and cooperate with all of our 3A peers. We had a fabulous first field trip to Beechwood Farms this past week. Students were respectful and excellent learners. We had a wonderful time together!

As a reminder, students will always have math homework (usually in their green book) every day. In addition, they will always be assigned something in reading whether it is reading a book, practicing vocabulary, practicing grammar or re-reading a trade book to prepare for the next day! The homework for the week will be listed on my website later today!

Also, as we continue through this quarter, students will be asked to start bringing home their “fact books” to practice their multiplication facts. I have multiple links on my website as well where students can practice flashcards online! The more practice, the better!

This Thursday is Open House at Hartwood! Students have been working incredibly hard the past few weeks, and I look forward to seeing everyone!

Warmly,

Miss Amoscato
