Well today was the day we woke up and ate breakfast with Grandpa and Grandma and said farewell as the majority of our family members headed back to their homes. It's always amazing to me just how quickly beautiful beautiful moments come to an end.

My uncle just recently posted a picture, and it certainly made me tear up as I thought about how possible the impossible became as this wedding drew nearer at the end of the summer. About one year ago and five months, I was married and I remember thinking on my wedding day-I'm so happy Grandma and Grandpa were abe to make it. But I never thought they would be present for my brother's wedding until he became engaged about a few months after I was married and then married soon thereafter. I didn't want to get my hopes up, but we heard they were coming. We were all elated but still a bit apprehensive because what once was impossible now seemed like it had a chance to be somewhat possible.

When my grandparents came out of the car and up the hill to our house in Wexford, I thought to myself...my goodness miracles really do come true. I never in a million years would have thought that both of them would make both my wedding and my brother's wedding, but I am so very glad they did.

The picture that my uncle took is a beautiful picture of both of my grandparents in their wheelchairs overlooking the city of Pittsburgh. It is enough to make just about anyone cry. You can see the twinkle in both of their eyes as they are looking at eachother, but even more beautiful is the city we call home looming ahead. Proof that their home is ours and our home has always been theirs. Because family is family. You only get one family-it should be a priority to make sure that you always take time to treasure what you have. Wherever family is- home lies.
