Dear Families,
Hello! This week in our classroom I will introduce the “Kindness Chain” which will
help to start decorate our classroom for what I consider to be “The season of
kindness.” In addition, I did want to mention that I will be out Tuesday and
Wednesday of this week. I truly dislike being out of the classroom. However, I am
the school’s building representative for our new safety training and procedures.
This is also a reminder that Tuesday of this week will be an odd day as we will
practice (as a school) how to evacuate safely. The substitute will know exactly what
to do and a veteran teacher will also be taking my class to where they need to go. I
will still send home daily reminders for homework this week. Also, I did just set the student’s XtraMath accounts to multiplication. This is a wonderful way to practice multiplication facts at home! I also sent home a few practice sheets in every student’s mailbox to also provide further practice!
