Dear Families,

I greatly enjoyed seeing your wonderful families at Open House on Thursday. I know the students were very excited to share their work with you. They certainly have all been working hard! This upcoming Friday we have our Fall Festival. For those of you who are new to Hartwood, this is a really lovely day where students are able to go to various stations, play fall games, enjoy some crafts and enjoy the season that is Fall. We also have another strange week in that we have a half day early dismissal on Wednesday of this week. We continue to focus on practicing the qualities of a scholar within the classroom: kindness, excellent citizenship, drive and passion. Students should also be reading their Accelerated Reader novel (from the library) 10-15 minutes per night! The more books read this year the better!
