Though I read this picture book for the first time last year, I am in awe of this rather simplistic but complex story of a young boy who lives in the airport with his father. This is an eye-opening story for many children as they learn about this idea of being without a home and begin to fully comprehend and understand the ever-changing emotions of a young boy. In addition, this book is fabulous for teaching central message as well as figurative language and symbolism.
