Evaluation

I came upon this book while looking for new releases. For whatever reason, this book popped up, and it was so unique, that I wanted to save it in this collection. Children talk "silly talk" all the time but those silly talks sometimes become powerful poems. The hidden pictures with this and the words are just something else. Definitely unlike any book ever read and perfect for preschool through kindergarten aged students. Rain Makes Applesauce is a whimsical classic and a wonderful sprinboard for so many writing activites inside and outside of the classroom.
