I realized quite early on that adventures are the best way to learn. Today was inevitably a learning curve as we set forth around the city of London. Multiple mistakes were to be had such as getting stuck between an automated subway door, separated from the parents and realizing you cannot place your subway ticket next to your phone or it will deactivate. See, many would assume that the day was terrible, that we halted all fun. But in reality we embraced the fact that exploration is about making mistakes. We made it to platform 9 and 3/4 near King's Crossing. In addition, we visited the Harry Potter shop, the British library and the inside of a rather fancy hotel. The library was excellent as there was a British gay rights activist exhibit discussing the court cases where gay men were considered to be Ill members of society. In addition we saw many primary documents and transcripts of famous musicians such as Beethoven and Chopin and others. We also so primary religious documents such as the Magna Carta and Quran. After perusing the library we had fish and chips (a local special) at the local pub and then headed to bed. Things I noticed whilst walking the streets...
1. People pass on the left
2. Driver seat is on the right
3. People move fast whilst driving in London
4. Drinks and snacks generally trump an actual dinner in the local town
5. Most people drink standing up
6. People open their chip bags all the way so that the bag looks like a shiny napkin
