Evaluation

I have no words to describe this middle grade graphic novel. It was filled with culture, humor, sorrow and so many life lessons packed into three parts. The illustrations are incredible and the flow of the story is even better. A book that reminds us all that literacy IS culture, honoring, listening and loving the stories of our families. Absolutely incredible.
