Just a reminder that you should be checking your child’s homework every night. Homework logs should be signed daily by a parent (including Fridays!) In addition, you should be reviewing addition and subtraction facts (daily) with your child as well as multiplication facts. My goal for this week is for all students to know their 2’s backwards and forwards. 

Thank you for filling out the narrative interviews with your child and having them bring in two pictures. The students are very excited about this writing unit. Our first language test will be this Wednesday on types of sentences (command, exclamation, question and statement), as well as predicates and subjects. A study guide will be sent home on Monday!
