Dear Parents,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Just a reminder that you should be checking your child’s homework every night. Homework logs should be signed daily by a parent (including Fridays!) Students should be practicing their multiplication facts every night! Once they pass their multiplication timed test (2 minutes) they will move on to the next set of multiplication facts. At least 10 minutes should be devoted to facts each night! In addition, students should be practicing their spelling words every night! Studying small chunks every night will make the studying more manageable!

Thank you to all of the parents who came in and helped with the Valentine’s Day party! The games were fantastic and the students truly had a wonderful time.

Currently, as a group, our 3A class is working towards becoming better listeners as well as becoming a cooperative, kind-hearted family. In general, the months of February and March are difficult for many! Not only is the weather a bit chilly, but the work generally starts to pick up during this time as we began to prepare for the PSSA's. As I have reminded my students many times, we may become frustrated with one another, but we have to treat each other with kindness and respect. As the weeks move forward, we continue to work on these goals.
