Dear Parents,

I hope everyone had a very relaxing weekend before the first week of school! I am looking forward to meeting all of my students this week. We have quite an exciting week planned for our first week of school. A school assembly will take place both Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Students will receive their assignment books, subject folders and writing notebooks. We will discuss our classroom rules, begin morning meeting and learn the routines of Writer’s Workshop as well as Reader’s Workshop. Please have your child bring in one or two pictures from the summer that he/she would like to share! We will be sharing our summer adventures during morning meeting this week and next week!
