Dear Families,

    Good Evening! I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend! Students did a really lovely job this week supporting one another and remaining kind inside and outside of the classroom. In addition, we had an excellent week keeping quiet transitions within the classroom and cooperating and collaborating with our fellow peers!

Students will have a math test this upcoming Tuesday to complete our area unit (which was definitely one of our smallest units.) In addition, students did receive a new AR book last week to read. We did a much better job completing our AR books early last month! In addition, students continue to do a superb job on their Civil Rights journals. The journals I received last week were thought-provoking, thorough and had absolutely beautiful handwriting. I cannot thank you enough for your support with this project!

    Valentine’s Day is soon approaching. I do love having the students bring in their own “boxes” or creations into the classroom. I do have many shoeboxes available as well as supplies for those who are in need of them! I will send a letter home on Monday explaining our Valentine’s Day exchange!
