Sometimes when we are slammed into something we never expected we may forget the good

like the fact that the sun still is shining

I still get to see my students everyday 

Learning is occurring and "outside of the box" might I say

and my husband-who hasn't had a rest in about two years-has finally been able to rest for two week

focus on drawing and do what he wishes to do

And that is something to be thankful for

we can still wear our party hats and celebrate

even if the confetti may not be as visible
