I received an email this afternoon from one of my parents as well as her daughter who both told me I absolutely had to read the book entitled "The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse."

I have to say..there are few books I have read to date that have left me in such awe

this one did it. And every single page was filled with emotions that I believe are sounding from the hearts of people everywhere. It is a lesson of life, love, making the best of what you have all through the dialogue of the boy, the mole, the fox and the horse.

gentle and uplifting, I recommend everyone buy this book or read it online. It is THAT profound. And so needed.

"Most of the old moles wish they had listened less to their fears and more to their dream."

"One of our greatest freedoms is how we react to things."

"Everyone is a bit scared," said the horse. "But we are less scared together."

"Tears fall for a reason and they are your strength not your weakness."

"Someday I worry that you will all realize I'm ordinary." Love doesn't need you to be extraordinary said the mole.

and the greatest illusion is that "life has to be perfect."

I could go on and on. But in this time it is essential that we notice the positives and the miracles in one another. And every single one of these lessons I have learned from my friends and my family, my students and their beautiful families.

Because everyone is just a little scared right now

but it is so much better to be scared together.

Life doesn't have to be perfect.

So enjoy your cake. And realize that we can still be learning some of life's most important lessons.
