Dear Parents,

     Just a reminder that you should be checking your child’s homework every night. Homework logs should be signed daily by a parent (including Fridays!) Students should be practicing their multiplication facts every night! Once they pass their multiplication timed test (2 minutes) they will move on to the next set of multiplication facts. At least 10 minutes should be devoted to facts each night! In addition, students should be practicing their spelling words every night! Studying small chunks every night will make the studying more manageable! 

    This past week, everyone in the class remembered to bring in their homework! This is fabulous. I have reminded every student that it is his or her responsibility to write all assignments and tests in their notebook at the end of the day!
