Dear Parents,

    We have a very busy week planned! Wednesday is a half day of school and dismissal will be at 11:30. On Friday, students will be partaking in the festivities of field day! This is sure to be a lot of fun. Please make sure your child is wearing sunscreen and dressed appropriately. It is supposed to be incredibly hot on Friday. 

     I would like to say that I have been completely in awe of my students and their complete involvement in our recent poetry unit. The results have been magnificent. Their poetry is simply beautiful. I will be sending copies home with them soon, so that they can be saved for years to come. 

    Lastly, please make sure you are continuing to practice multiplication and division facts at home. As I told my students last week, long multiplication and division become increasingly difficult if one does not know their facts! Students should be practicing and reviewing at least 10 minutes per night to keep their known facts fresh in their minds!
