Dear Families,
I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather outside! We continue to work on quiet transitions within the classroom as well as learning to collaborate and cooperate with all of our 3A peers. It was an absolutely pleasure seeing all of you at our Open House! I know the students were excited to share their hard work with you. It is quite amazing how much we have accomplished in just eight weeks! We have a terrific group of students! Thank you so much for coming.
This is just a reminder that students do need to be reading their Accelerated Reader book which is due by October 31st! Students will read the book and then take an AR test related to the book to test for comprehension. At the beginning of the year, we require just one novel to be read per month! This is a great way for students to practice their fluency at home! Students are certainly welcome to read more than one AR book a month if they so desire! The more reading the better!
Warmly,
Miss Amoscato
