Dear Families,

    Good Evening! I hope everyone has had a marvelous weekend. It certainly went quicker than I had imagined. Please make sure your child is reading their AR book as it is due this week. I will pass out Civil Rights books one more time on Monday and we will complete one last exchange this week!

    I did want to note that we are beginning a class novel. At times, I will assign only one chapter for the students to read out loud or to an adult at home. This is a fabulous novel, but there certainly are some difficult vocabulary words. Every time a chapter is assigned, the student will be asked to bring home their novel sheet and get it signed. The novel sheet will be kept in their thring ring binder (so it does not get lost!) Thank you so much for your help with this!

    We do have spelling words for this week. Students will receive these words (hole-punched) as well as their vocabulary words tomorrow in the morning on their desks!
