Dear Families, 

Tomorrow marks the first day of school, and I cannot wait to meet all of my scholars! As a fun activity to reflect on "who we are" as people, I ask that your scholar wear their "favorite" something. This special something may be a scarf, a hair piece, an earring, a shoe, socks, shorts, a favorite shirt, etc. This will be integrated into our first reading lesson tomorrow as we read The Proudest Blue. In addition, water bottles are definitely encouraged within the classroom and will be placed right next to each desk. 

I'm greatly looking forward to tomorrow, and I thank you for your support.
