Doug simply does not like receiving hugs (unless they are from his mom.) However, he does love high fives!
Evaluation
A beautiful book about the importance of consent and respectable preference. Not everyone has to show and receive love in the same ways! A truly wonderful read for student in preschool or early elementary grades.
