Day 4 we began this lovely sunny morning at 5:00 for a 45 minute run around the city of Exeter. It was quite peaceful as many people had been partying hard the night before. We ran through many streets, over the bridge and passed multiple churches.
Later that morning we departed Exeter and enjoyed a river tour in Plymouth where the Mayflower first departed from! We passed many navy ships as well as a visiting USA cable ship-the only one of its kind. The day was spilling sunshine, so it was quite nice to be on the water.
We then drove to a quaint town with painted houses and cobblestone roads. This place was known as pulperro Cornwall. There were small ice cream shops along the way and also bakeries where one could indulge in a Cornish pasty. This happens to be a famous treat where miners wives used to pack meat and potatoes and other such delights in a pouch like pastry so that it would be easier to pick up and eat. Surrounding the food one could hear a guitar player singing, watch the boats shimmer across the water and see a boy jumping off the rocks and into the water. It was a happy place and very peaceful. The pace in these country towns is rather slow. Its refreshing from the fast paced world most of us usually lead.
For near these field
I could travel for days

Far down the road we sing his praise

We headed into Princetown prison which was around and built during the battle of Waterloo. Frank Mitchell is the only individual who has successfully escaped the prison. We still don't know where Frank went. The prisoner farm is part of the life of the prisoner. They produce security systems within the prison walls which is slightly ironic.
This evening after heading to the Monastery, we had a gorgeous dinner at Ley Arms restaurant. Essentially, it was an old pub that looked like a quaint house on the inside. This, to me, was bottled up happiness. Adjacent was an old church and a tree that potentially dates back to before Christianity. The church seemed to take all worries away. Sun shone through the stain glass windows and left silent shadows on the floors. Remembering that peace does exist in unexpected places.
