To the Families of 3A:

It has been one extraordinary year to say the least. Every scholar did such a fantastic job with the countless changes at the beginning of the year. From finding papers, to keeping up with their school work, to carrying incredibly heavy backpacks, they truly deserve an award (you all do) for flexibility. I think because of the circumstances, we celebrated every day in our classroom with great zest. I have never had more fun on Saint Patrick’s Day (we have a glitter-loving class), nor have I been able to create and fit in as many creative writing projects, research reports, topics of choice and socially distanced activities in a single year.

My goal for each and every year is for my students to learn about the world around them, to realize that we are all called to be accepting global citizens, to embrace diversity and culture, think critically, share and learn about the hidden stories and perspective of others, participate vigorously, ask questions, analyze and reflect upon the world around us and be the change you wish to see in this world. I received one of the most creative groups of students this year, and I learned more from my students than they could ever learn from me. I thank you for your positive messages throughout the year, your patience and understanding when things didn't go as planned and for instilling in your scholar(s), patience, love, beautiful manners and the importance of being a kind human. I cannot wait to see what my students accomplish in the years to come. I will miss all of you but know that my door is always open and you will always hold a very special place in my heart. As I continue to tell my students, this is one year of teaching, I  will never forget.

With the greatest love and respect,

 Mrs. Brianna Amoscato
