Dear Parents,

Just a reminder that you should be checking your child’s homework every night. Homework logs should be signed daily by a parent (including Fridays!) Students should be practicing their multiplication facts every night! Once they pass their multiplication timed test (2 minutes) they will move on to the next set of multiplication facts. At least 10 minutes should be devoted to facts each night! In addition, students should be practicing their spelling words every night! Studying small chunks every night will make the studying more manageable!

As I have told my students before, they are encouraged to decorate a box or a bag and bring it in sometime before Friday! Valentines will be exchanged on Friday! If students wish to bring in Valentines, they must bring them in for everyone in the class!

Lastly, the 100th day of school is tomorrow, February 8th, 2016! I will be dressing up as someone who is “100” years old, and I am encouraging my students to dress up as 100 years old as well!
