Dear Families,
It has been an honor and privilege getting to know each and every one of my students this year! Every scholar in my classroom has grown academically in reading, math, writing, science and social studies! We have completed countless writing projects, difficult math problems, engineering endeavors and cultural studies to look at the world in a different way. We have focused on neat handwriting, growing confident in our abilities as learners, slowing ourselves down (“the slowest one wins the race”) and taking humble pride in everything we have accomplished. As a family, we have learned to cooperate and collaborate, to come to a compromise, to respect other people’s opinions, to realize that everyone in the classroom thinks differently and to appreciate diversity. We have stopped to laugh together when times get funny and we have cried together when times have become a bit difficult. It is always unbelievable to look back at the beginning of the year and to see just how far we have come as a 3A Power Team. Truly, it has been a beautiful year, and I thank you for giving support with homework and helping your scholar study for their tests, for teaching them important life lessons, and making sure they realize that they are so very loved.
I am incredibly thankful for my vocation, and I feel blessed to be surrounded by such a wonderfully loving group of parents. Thank you for all that you do.
A few reminders for this week are as follows:
- A pizza party will take place on Tuesday of this week! Gold slips were sent home on Thursday of last week! If you could please indicate what you are bringing to the party (snacks, desserts, vegetables, fruits, drinks, etc.) that would be wonderful!
- Field Day will occur on Thursday of this week! Please make sure your child is dressed in comfortable clothes and sneakers!
With love,
Mrs. Amoscato
