Our morning meeting today was filled with shareouts of festivities and favorite moments regarding Thanksgiving..

Here is what we came up with...

1. I'm thankful for the homemade noodles I made with my sister-they go in a soup and they are so good

2. I'm thankful I get to play outside football with my family. It's kids versus adults and adults usually win

3. I'm thankful I get to spend time with my Grandpa-he spends all his time on us, and I want to give to him. 

4. I'm thankful for my cousins that are coming over

5. I'm thankful I get to spend Thankgiving with my friend-except her family eats pizza and ranch not turkey

6. I'm thankful I get to make cookies to then give to everyone during December

7. I am happy I'm going over to my dad's friends house and we are going to have food together

8. I'm thankful I get to put up my Christmas tree this weekend and then go to the movies

9. I'm thankful for a sleepover

10. I'm thankful for some time outside of school

We underestimate our students sometimes- for children are the ones that know what is truly important-sometimes what we have forgotten is due to our busy worlds as adults. Love. Stay peaceful. Be thankful.
