Dear Luna,

We cannot believe you are four months old. Where has the time gone? This has been our favorite month yet with you! We believe you are tracking to be as big as uncle Nick when you are older, and your head is filled with all kinds of knowledge! You have the biggest cheese anytime you see mommy or daddy or someone you know. You love listening to anyone talk and sometimes you stare so hard that you forget to blink. Such a deep thinker you are. You have become the tutoring/literacy baby through and through, and your smile is so sweet that it could light up an entire Christmas tree. You are one happy baby, and you are certainly happiest in the mornings. We have decided that you are definitely a morning baby just like daddy (after his coffee.)

We heard our first big giggle this month. In fact, one of the biggest giggles was during tutoring when one of mommy's students started laughing uncontrollably, and you decided it would be best to laugh alongside with him. Since then, he has become your little giggle buddy. The laugh combined with the dimples is just too cute. You love to be thrown up in the air, and you also love to giggle and listen to the Mr. Roger's Neighborhood song every morning when you wake up. Your favorite part is the upbeat jazz section of the song where mommy likes to dance with you around the apartment. You can certainly keep a beat.

In addition to your giggle, you have loved discovering not only your hands, but also your feet and your tongue. It seems that every day you find a new body part to enjoy and discover with. You are doing quite well with tummy time, and we enjoy looking at our jar of lights, Sofie the giraffe and of course a giant cardboard Grandy head. The more things you have to look at the, the merrier. You love to sit up in your chair and often time you bend so far forward that it looks like you are about to start crawling. You are quite excellent with your hands, you have started grabbing noses and faces and most importantly, you can hold the bottle all by yourself. This is quite impressive-I must say.

You attended Open Streets this past month as well as your first Italian Festival, and you enjoyed both experiences. Milk time is still your favorite time, but you also love reading and listening to many books every day and silly songs. When you wake up, you are a cuddle bunny and you love to be rocked before falling asleep. You still love taking long walks every single day which has helped to get mommy in better shape. She thanks you for this. We don't always love our car rides, however.

You are a dolly baby, an angel and the sweetest little nugget we could have ever asked for. Every day is a new beautiful adventure with you. We have relished in all of the moments so far. We love giving you a bath, hugging and kissing your cheeks, squishing your thigh rolls and even cleaning your neck folds that sometimes grow a bit stinky when left unattended.

Thanks for being the sweetest cinnabon we could have ever asked for.

Love,

Mommy and Daddy
