Dear Families,
Good Afternoon! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend as well as the Olympics! I know I am! Students created their own Valentine’s Day bags in the classroom on Friday. I had a few students (who wanted to) take them home over the weekend to complete decorating! I figured small bags would be a bit more manageable in our small classroom rather than boxes! We had a great time helping one another and sharing supplies!
Students received a hot pink list of all three classes and the names of students in each class! For our class, if students want to bring in a Valentine, they just have to make sure they brings Valentine’s for every single student in the class! We do not want anyone to be left out! However, if a students has a friend in another class they wish to give a Valentine to, they may do so for just that one student. In other words, they do not need to deliver Valentines for every single person in the other classes! Please let me know via email whether or not you are in need of Valentine’s Day cards! I am running out this weekend to have many extras for students in case they need them! I know this is a busy time of year! :)
We had a really lovely week last week as far as kindness and cooperation. We are certainly growing as a family in this respect, and I love this! We do have a bit of a shortened week this week! We will begin our Valentine’s Day exchanges starting Monday and continuing through Wednesday! Students will be allowed to visit classes in the mornings to pass out their goodies. Also, we please ask that there is no candy involved due to allergies and the no food policy! Thank you so much! I look forward to a week filled with love.
Warmly,
Miss Amoscato
