A true story of how Joyce Chen brought the dumpling from Beijing to Cambridge.

Evaluation

This book truly makes students think about the how and why behind the foods we eat today. How did a particular dish become popular? Where did it originate from? Who is the mastermind behind the delicacy? Every food we eat has a rich history. This book is an excellent nonfiction books for students in grades K-2. It contains a lot of excellent information but is not overwhelming in terms of the number of words used. An excellent addition to any elementary library or classroom.
