Snapshot One: We stopped in the quaint village of Ludow. An older man played flute on the cobblestone road. We passed by a meat shop selling pidgeon and pig pastries and traveled towards the creek surrounded by small cottages and colorful flower boxes. We enjoyed a Welsh cake for the first time- a delicious treat that tasted like a soft biscuit. It was more buttery than sweet and quite tasty.  Snapshot Two: landed in Chester. A town with many shops. A man was playing an electric guitar. We visited a cathedral, walked the shops and the city walk surrounding the city. Snapshot Three: Landed in Liverpool and I was reminded of these beautiful lyrics: Imagine there's no HeavenIt's easy if you...

Today we first visited Glastonbury Abbey. It was quite interestingly a "hippy town." This is home to the Glastonbury music festival which houses some of the biggest names in rock. People backpack for miles to catch the music! The shops around Glastonbury were quite new-age type shops. Witchery was in one, fortune-telling in another and incense was burning from every small shop. It was as if you were stepping back into some secret garden. The Glastonbury Abbey or rather the remains of it were worth seeing surrounded by fields of green pastures. The inside was equally as impressive. Later, we traveled to Blackmore farm. This farm was quite impressive and it was evident that the family had a...

Day 4 we began this lovely sunny morning at 5:00 for a 45 minute run around the city of Exeter. It was quite peaceful as many people had been partying hard the night before. We ran through many streets, over the bridge and passed multiple churches. Later that morning we departed Exeter and enjoyed a river tour in Plymouth where the Mayflower first departed from! We passed many navy ships as well as a visiting USA cable ship-the only one of its kind. The day was spilling sunshine, so it was quite nice to be on the water.  We then drove to a quaint town with painted houses and cobblestone roads. This place was known as pulperro Cornwall. There were small ice cream shops along the way and also...

The greatest adventure is one without a map. Today was such an artistic adventure. We departed London and headed to Stonehenge. The rock formations were quite interesting. It was amazing that such a rock formation was built without stone tools. Interestingly, no one really knows why Stonehenge was built. It was said that the people probably originated from Scotland or near that area. In addition, they were most likely very well traveled. It could have been built for sacrifice purposes although radio carbon dating has shown that the people who built it probably were not Druids. We also happened to visit the city of Bath. Now, this is a very commercialized area with shops and still the...

Go out and make things happen Day 2 crisp morning but beautiful. Sun is glimmering across the lake from the window of the coach bus commencing the start of our morning tour. We passed the House of Parliament. We saw the green awning of the house of lords and the red awning of other seats of parliament. We also passed the mi six headquarters of central security as well as the building of internal security in building mi5. Horses were being exercised that take part in various ceremonies. We stopped at Westminster abbey as well as saint Margaret's church which is where many members of the parliament are married. We saw the London eye with 32 cars standing for the 32 districts of London. We...
